Editorial policy
Release GTA 6 is an independent fan publication about Grand Theft Auto VI. We are not affiliated with Rockstar Games or Take-Two Interactive. This page explains how our news is made.
Sources. Every news story lists its sources with a link to the original article. Official information links to Rockstar Games or Take-Two. We only use facts that the sources actually report; we never invent quotes, numbers, dates or features, and we never copy third-party articles.
Labels. Every story and community post carries one label: Confirmed (official Rockstar Games or Take-Two information only), Reported (credible outlets, not officially confirmed), Rumor (leaks, insiders, unverified claims), Community theory (speculation) or Debunked (shown to be false). When in doubt, we choose the less certain label.
Use of AI. Our newsroom uses AI tools to help draft and translate stories from the sources listed in each article. Every story is reviewed by a human editor before it is published, and stories written with AI assistance say so at the end.
News and community are separate. Editorial news comes from the Release GTA 6 newsroom. Posts, theories, discoveries and predictions written by members are opinions of their authors and are always labeled as community content. Official team accounts carry an Official badge.
Corrections. If we get something wrong, we fix it and update the story. When Rockstar confirms or denies a report, we change its label. To report an error, write to contact@releasegta6.com.
